Wednesday, August 5, 2015. First Light Across Lake Sherburne. Just returned from Glacier National Park. Although the Reynolds Creek wildfire did interfere with some planned activities, it was still a spectacular trip with great scenery to photograph. There were a couple of beautifully calm mornings at Many Glacier with some incredible morning light. Here's a panorama across the Lake with the warm morning light on the mountains. I recently spent some time in La Jolla, California and I saw these two elderly women sharing a bench overlooking the beautiful, blue Pacific ocean. There is an assisted living facility nearby and although I do not know for certain, I like to imagine these two are residents and the trip to the beach is a daily occurrence.
