At the end I was not satisfied with the resulting code and I was wondering about the benefit vs the effort, mainly because at this moment I am the only user of this JSON API. Being frustrated by this I researched a little and found about JSON Schema. At first I was in doubt about using a schema being worried of getting in the complexity found in the XML word.
