Pensacola to New Orleans. February 4, 2015 23:42 – 23:42. I’m at the Comfort Suites on Bullard Avenue in New Orleans. The internet speed varies 5 to 10 Mbps. Not awful, but the “varies” aspect is an issue for things like Skyping and streaming. Yesterday, I went to St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge. I saw a few new birds I’d never seen before, including a pair of snipes. Here’s one of them. I also saw a yellow-rumped warbler! Tone mapping brings out more of the contrasts, particularly in the clouds.
