Back after a bit of a hiatus! Normally I draw characters too static so here’s an attempt at something more dynamic. The treeplanter about his business. First painting in a while, just some happy footmen pacifying the countryside. Very rough, was tempted to go into more detail but decided to leave it as is. Loosely based on ref on google street view. A little rusty with the brush! The style of the buildings was inspired by the beautiful work of Vsevolod Ivanov. To go with this colourful season.
