Para los que lo desconozcan, este comité se reúne por recomendación de la Agencia Estatal de Seguridad Aérea (AESA), quien recomienda analizar los posibles incumplimientos para la certificación de la nueva pista. Por supuesto, lo más importante en cada sesión, por encima de todo, es garantizar la seguridad de las futuras operaciones en la nueva pista.
