I don't recall ever seeing any information about it, and only in the last couple of months have I seen TV advertising and seen readers sprouting like mushrooms in my neighbourhood. Thursday, 9 July 2009. VMware guest time sync under OSX. To sync time without needing VMware tools, you can run a cron job every minute that syncs with the OSX time daemon.
