Livin' on the Edge: October 2014
http://theedgings.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 29, 2014. One time, Sarah complained about her ankle hurting for a couple of days and it looked swollen. So we took her to the doctor and got it xrayed. It wasn't broken, maybe just a little sprained. and Then as soon as we got back to Mimi and PawPaw's house, it was fine. She hasn't complained about it since. One time my kids kept dressing up like pirates to do everything. One time my Mom and Mother-in-law bought me a new sewing machine that embroiders! Sunday, October 26, 2014. A cou...

Livin' on the Edge: Back to School Party
http://theedgings.blogspot.com/2015/08/back-to-school-party.html
Monday, August 10, 2015. Back to School Party. Oh Mommy, there's going to be a pizza party for going back to school and I'm so excited. Can we please go? So my Mom had a great idea. Lets just throw her a Back to School pizza party ourselves. So that we did! I asked Sarah what we should do and she said "play games of course." So it was basically a birthday party without the presents! Attendance were both sets of Grandparents and Aunt Susie. I kind of hope we have started a new tradition. It was fun an...

Livin' on the Edge: #slammajammawhamma15
http://theedgings.blogspot.com/2015/07/slammajammawhamma15.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2015. In college some friends and I would go to a nearby restaurant EVERY Thursday for Trivia night. (Side note, once my BFF's ex boyfriend showed up right after they had broken up. It was awkward because who does that? Anyways, our team name was Slamma Jamma Whamma. I think even over the years, some parents joined in. We only won once but it was a very exciting victory. Not pictured Caleb age 4 because well "I hate pictures." Also not pictured is Sarah's smile. We are the edgings.

Livin' on the Edge: Choo Choo
http://theedgings.blogspot.com/2015/07/choo-choo.html
Thursday, July 9, 2015. My parents spent a few days with us in our new place. We did a bit of exploring at Coolidge Park and went swimming in the lake out our backdoor. But then we decided to go for a ride on the Tennessee Valley Railroad. The kids were in heaven. Even today, Sam was talking about it today. "I just loved riding on the train.". After the ride the kids explored around the train cars that aren't going anywhere. Anyways, every little kids dream right there. Exploring trains. Hello I'm Brooke...

Livin' on the Edge: April 2015
http://theedgings.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Boys Night and Girls Night. Monday night Steven informed Sam that he was taking him to a football game the following night. To say he was happy would be an understatement. As I was reading their bed time story he kept repeating "Just me and Daddy. Just me and Daddy. Not Mommy, not Sarah, not Titus. Just me and Daddy. Just me and Daddy.". I get it kid. You are excited about your Daddy time. I will not interfere. Tuesday, April 28, 2015. I dont want to go to Ninevah. But if God d...

Livin' on the Edge: We Love the Aquarium
http://theedgings.blogspot.com/2015/08/we-love-aquarium.html
Saturday, August 15, 2015. We Love the Aquarium. On Friday the kids and I went to the TN Aquarium in Chattanooga. Of course it helps that Steven's dad is a volunteer diver so its fun to watch him in action. And I know he loves looking through the glass and seeing his grandchildren. At one point he was giving high fives and fist bumps to Sarah and Sam but Titus was a bit concerned about the masked man. I we spent a good 4 hours in the aquarium and I couldn't believe how much Sarah and Sam were into it.

Livin' on the Edge: August 2015
http://theedgings.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 23, 2015. Titus is 18 months. My sweet sweet baby is 18 months old today. He's beautiful and stubborn and the best. He makes me laugh with his distinct likes and dislikes. He is SO OPINIONATED. It would be hysterical if it wasn't also frustrating! But even though we lovingly call him the Tiny Tyrant or the Beautiful Bully, he is always one to tell you he's sorry with a sweet pat to the head. And sometimes he will even through in an "I'm sorry" kiss. Fun quirks about my boy. He is slowly st...
