Testing network connectivity with a Bash script. Initially I just had a simple script to ping each in succession:. Ping -c1 192.168.1.1. Ping -c1 192.168.1.4. Ping -c1 www.google.com. The -c1 argument means to only send one ping. This would product an output like this:. PING 192.168.1.1 (192.168.1.1) 56(84) bytes of data. 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp seq=1 ttl=255 time=0.544 ms. 192168.1.1 ping statistics - -. 1 packets transmitted, 1 received, 0% packet loss, time 0ms. I have decided that this week's tastings will be of different stouts. I selection I managed to acquire was all that was available at Dan Murphy's in Coburg. I chose stouts this week because I really enjoy think darker beers and now that Winter has just finished it will be too hot soon to enjoy them properly. Sinha Stout (aka Lion Stout) 330ml $4.20. Guinness Extra Stout 375ml $3.00. Coopers Best Extra Stout 375ml $2.55. Abbotsford Invalid Stout 375ml $3.70. Southwark Old Stout 375ml $3.20.

Opps Seems I missed a few days. Oh well, today we have the Sinha Stout (aka Lion Stout) which is the highest rated out of the stouts that I have selected this week. 80% abv - approx 1.25 standard drinks. Sinha stout is brewed in Sri Lanka (Ceylon) and has a heritage dating back till 1881.
