Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Birth Story - Nolan. Monday morning I had my 39 week Dr. appointment. Before we left, I packed my hospital bag and declared to Jared, "I'm not coming home tonight! An interesting tidbit, Nolan was born with a "true knot", which is a knot in his umbilical cord. Luckily it was pretty loose but at any point could have tightened. Tuesday, April 19, 2011. We only had two quick days but Morocco is at the top of my list of favorite places. Our Riad (hotel) inside the Medina. There are no cars allowed inside the Medina so everything is transported by donkeys or pull carts. Some homes don't have ovens so people take their bread to the local baker to be made. This guy is not happy I'm taking his picture so he's "blocking my evil eye". Camel meat, anyone? Other treasures from the market. It was all too exciting for Lila.

Friday, November 4, 2011. Phil and Sabrina stopped for lunch on their way to LA. We celebrated Abby's Birthday with an art party. Lila was given two options at church: go to nursery, or take a nap. This lasted for about two months and now she chooses nursery. Trying to juggle two children's nap schedules. Scarlett "reading" her scriptures. They have the same effect on me too :). Little buddy started smiling.and little brothers are awesome. Fresh after a bath. Ready for church with his crochet cowboy boots.

Thursday, March 24, 2011. The week before Christmas we headed to Germany to check out the Christmas Markets. It was cold and snowy but put us right in the Christmas Spirit. Our first stop was Nuremberg. Followed by Rothenburg ob der Tauber. A horse drawn carriage to Neuschwanstein Castle. And a stop off in Salzburg on our way home. Spoon fed liquid chocolate anyone?
