Monday, January 14, 2008. Vista Hibernates Again After Resuming from Hibernation. I've noticed that my new notebook (running Vista) has been hibernating very soon after I resume it from hibernation. I'll often start/resume the notebook and then turn my attention away to do something else while it's resuming, only to find that it's hibernating again when I turn back. After searching Google for much longer than should have been necessary, I found a Microsoft knowledge base article. That addresses the issue.
