Relationships = Recession Proofing. Sales people love the concept of a "lay down" customer. This is the customer that walks in, gives you the order with no chatting or negotiation. They just lay down the money. Get your head out of the clouds (or worse). Lay downs in a "down economy"? Build your relationships with your customers. Don't just sell them once.
