3rd time is the charm. Ever tried starting a blog? Well this is my 3rd time. I usually last about 3-6 months and then simple forget to update it on a regular basis. So why will I succeed this time? Good question. I will do a couple of things, weekly reminders: “Have you posted anything this week? Rdquo;, is a good start. So what do I mean by “development, code and tech”? This blog is by me, meant for me, but if you happen to come across it and benefit from it, then that is just an added bonus.

MongoDB NodeJS = fun. So I’ve wanted to do something like a multiplayer realtime javascript-based game for some time now. After reading up on NodeJS i figured it might be just the tool I was looking for. Once I was thinking about saving my persisting data in a flat file format, xml or something similar, but then a run in to MongoDB. Of course I’ve heard the name tons of times on /r/programming/. Which meant I could drop an AJAX call to my NodeJS. Just to make things a little easier I explored Mongoose.
