As some of you know, and more of you need to know, the Presidential Advisory Committee is planning to recommend a total ban on the sale of ALL ivory in the United States. Not a ban on new import, but a ban on ALL IVORY (this includes mammoth, boar, warthog, etc) in ALL FORMS (jewelry, knives, pistol grips, musical instruments, etc). I DO NOT SUPPORT THIS. Wednesday, May 29, 2013. The excitement of roundup season! So I worked real hard to get her in shape, especially in the last few months. I rode as much as I could, went up and down as many hills as I could, went out and checked cows a lot, and so on and so forth. We were ready this year! And it was so much fun! My vocal jazz group Turnstyle had our debut performance (since revamping the band) on Saturday night at Pearson Park Amphitheatre in Anaheim. The 2000-seat venue near Disneyland was full of jazz and music lovers who received us with a VERY warm and enthusiastic attitude!
