Tuesday, December 16, 2014. It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas! At my big brother's suggestion, I started playing around with holiday images- Santa hats, antlers, and a Rudolph nose on my peacocks and my shivery, long-legged bird tangled in lights. After one week of my holiday cards at Paper Skyscraper, they sold out of all 4 dozen. Wow! Posted by Liz Saintsing. Several artis...

Liz Saintsing: Why Charlotte's All a Flutter--Amy Bareham

http://blog.lizsaintsing.com/2014/10/why-charlottes-all-flutter-amy-bareham.html

Saturday, October 25, 2014. Why Charlotte's All a Flutter- Amy Bareham. Recently, I had the pleasure of sitting down with the lovely Amy Bareham, a delightful intern from the Arts and Science Council. She visited me at my booth at The Festival in the Park on opening night. I was able to chat with her while setting up my show. She picked my brain about my inspiration, process, and all things art. Here are her kind, thoughtful words. Posted by Liz Saintsing. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Monday, November 14, 2011. Beth Weintraub: Interview with an Artist. Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting a dear friend from San Francisco, Beth Weintraub. It was great to see her smiling face and to catch up. We visited a local farmer’s market, did some antiquing, and made wonderful dinners together. She’s a world-renowned talented printmaker who specializes in etching and her beautiful work can be seen at www.bethweintraub.com. Q: Why are you an artist and when did you become one? As a result, I st...

Liz Saintsing: February 2013

http://blog.lizsaintsing.com/2013_02_01_archive.html

Thursday, February 28, 2013. Silk Screening an Accent Wall. She was referring to my accent wall which I bravely painted a metallic silver and hand-printed it with a silhouetted, floral pattern. In her defense, it is quite stunning. To save time, they painted the accent wall a light shade of mocha prior to me coming over. Once I arrived, I got to work immediately! Liz Saintsing: Pop-Up Shop at West Elm

http://blog.lizsaintsing.com/2014/12/pop-up-shop-at-west-elm.html

Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Pop-Up Shop at West Elm. Several artist friends of mine have had the honor of being a featured artist of the month at West Elm. A few of my other friends have their work permanently featured in the "Made Locally" section of the Charlotte store. After inquiring about their events and local artist selections, I was offered a pop-up shop event for the holidays. I was so excited (to say the least). Posted by Liz Saintsing. In an earlier post I mentioned that I was making a point to enter contests/apply for scholarships. Well, here’s one! This contest was advertised around my school.
