They were so excited for their friends to arrive and show off their fluffy rainbow outfits. Pastel Tulle Netting - 6" Rolls. Pink, peach, yellow, mint, aqua, lavender). HAPPY DAY OF INDEPENDENCE! This is what our home looks like this time of year. Kind of a simplified country situation. 8212; I cut out a large United States from a box. Keeping the lines kind of angular makes it easy to cut. I punched holes in the corners and strung it to the wall using washi tape. I didn't try to hide the tape, it's very much a part of the scene, although I did crop it out of the photo ;). 8212; I bought several Dollar Store flags and cut them into triangles and sewed them into a garland.

PASTEL PLASTIC STRAW WREATH. I made a plastic straw wreath a while back. They're not terribly hard to make. My lovely friend Meg taught a bunch of us to make them from a tutorial she found. I'm not sure where, but there is a tutorial here. All you need is wire and plastic straws. Knock yourself out, you're sure to find a use for one! This vintage lunch bag I found while garage saling with Sonya this spring, it works great to pack Henry's stuff. Somehow I managed to be packed up and ready a day ahead of time. This is so not like me but made the day of departure go so smoothly. I knew that this bus was loud but until it backs into your drive and startles all the neighbors. you might not fully appreciate it. Stuart is just in his glory.

Friday, December 14, 2012. 3/4 cup white sugar. 1 10oz bag mini pretzle sticks. 2 cups chocolate chips. Sprinkle of sea salt. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Heat butter and sugar in a saucepan until boiling. Cook on medium for 2 - 3 minutes until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat. Line an 11x14 inch pan with parchment paper. Line up pretzels in a single file as best as you can. Pour sugar butter mixture over the pretzels and pop into the oven for 8 minutes. As if this wasn't enough fun all ready! Oh fun&#4...
