Trek to Lough Altan. Last March I went hillwalking with two of my brothers, to the Abandoned farmhouse at Lough Altan in the north of Donegal and took pictures along the way. Recently I spent four days in the picturesque city of Lisbon, taking in the great weather, scenery and culture whilst taking millions of photos. In the four days I managed to visit most of the main attractions like the ruins of the Convento de Carmo, (a reminder of the powerful 1755 earthquake), medieval places like the. The Gleniff Horseshoe lies off the N15 between Sligo and Donegal. I think the shortest and easiest way to negotiate the network of roads in this area is to turn off the N15 near Mullaghmore. This is also where you will find Sligo's Magic Hill, a section of road where if you park your car and let off the handbrake the car will move uphill!
