Johnathan Law • Transforming Health (Part One)

Transforming Health (Part One). So, I’m currently undertaking a module at university called “Research Frontiers” where we get to pick some mini modules such as Computer Face Models, Assistive Technology and such. For the first part of the module, I chose Constraint Programming and Transforming Health with Technology (can you guess which one this blog post is about? Blog comments powered by Disqus. Transforming Health (Part Two). Another week of Transforming Healthcare is almost finished, and I’ve realised I’ve not been hugely active blogging about what’s been happening. I do somewhat prefer the retroactive posts though, it’s interesting to think back and reflect on the work from the last week. For the remainder of the week, work is continuing on the application to iron out any final bugs, and other members of the team are currently working on our video advert and demonstration. Transforming Health (Part Three). I’m quite looking forward to the presentations today to see how the other teams have gotten on and it will be nice to showcase the work that the team has put in over the last three weeks developing the application. On the whole, I’m fairly happy with the product we produced. Although not perfect, it’s a suitable prototype for the idea we had. Blog comments powered by Disqus. Mdash; Tumblr themes.

So, the Transforming Health module is now all done and I fancied doing a little retrospective blog. On the whole, even though things were tough, I thoroughly enjoyed the module. It was fun working in such a big team, and I think what we produced was quite successful and I believe that the team gained quite a lot from their individual roles. Blog comments powered by Disqus. The Mist Net Chronicles
The Mist Net Chronicles. A blog of sorts by Matt Freeman. But there he was, big as life. They used to tell a person who'd undergone a shock, "You look like you've seen a ghost! I may have been looking at J. quizzically now and then, as if I expected some wisps of mortality to be trailing off him still, and if I had an odd expression I'd have to say that it was because I was seeing someone very much alive. Rants, Raves, Tech, Whatever. Flash Update: Headphone and Sound Issues Dell 6430. This morning (6/3/2013) I was greeted by an Adobe Flash update pushed by our service desk. After running the update my sound no longer was functioning. I tried different headphones, docked and un-docked, rebooting, etc. Re-installed drivers and the sound would work until Spotify started. It appears to be an issue with Spotify, Flash, and the possibility of the 32 bit version of Flash on a 64 bit OS. Here are the steps below.
