Thursday, May 22, 2014. May Long (but not long enough) Weekend. Well Here it is, the 22nd of May. Still feels like March most days! In order to facilitate a more summer-like ambience (in my world anyway), I went and bought a new toy. Chris upgraded. so I am going to. Look after" his old bike! I finally did it! Saturday, June 13, 2015. Sista is in the house! What a most excellent weekend! My baby sister Heather came for a visit, and we had a fabulous time in the mountains. It wasn't long enough - it never is - but I'm grateful for the few awesome days I got to spend with her! Toni and Chris joined us as we enjoyed the relatively mellow stroll up to Helen Lake. Friday, March 8, 2013. Whiteman Falls (W6) and Redman Soars (M5 ) with Chris. Are two of the best climbs in the Kananaskis area, and I always enjoy heading into climb them. Chris joined me for the day and was keen to get on some steep ice and mixed terrain! The day starts with an hour long ski down a closed road, and we were treated to a beautiful sunrise along the way. After the ski, we entered the canyon where a couple short bits of ice and some skirting around waterholes brought us to the routes.
