After graduating from the University of Ottawa with a BSc. in Biochemistry, and then attending Algonquin College and getting a diploma in Respiratory Therapy, I got married and had four children. After nearly 10 years at home raising children I was eager to enter the workforce but had no experience in the areas I was educated in.
