Saying 'biological' sounds so impersonal, like we don't know each other, but we do! It really had not occurred to me the effect this has had on me until I was 30! I always felt like it didn't bother me because my "new" dad loved me so much! Anyways.I missed them! I missed my Aunt and Uncles and my grandparents and COUSINS! I had NO CLUE that they would be SO EXCITED to see us too!

We had our annual end of the season swim party at the McKinnon's again this year for the Raptor's, and since it was our last one with the team I wanted to get a special gift for the coaches. On the drive home from California we were listening to the kids watch The Sandlo. T on the DVD player (and I was cracking up! I don't even have to see it to love it! And Dan said "we should take a sandlot picture of the Raptor's! And I knew at that moment that it was meant to be!

Est 10.01.99. Monday, November 25, 2013. Spencer turned 13 on October 6th! Every year I am dumbfounded that they are getting older. Someday I might catch on and be ready for it coming but I seriously doubt it. Spencer is in Junior High this year. He is super athletic and SUPER intelligent. He has one of those brains that remembers everything! He can tell you all about the Civil War and the layers of the Earth and tell you how to divide fractions - all from memory! I don't know where he stores it all!

If I thought I was busy with 4 kids when they were little I was a FOOL! I can not even believe the time consumption that these kids take! We are moving at a high rate of speed constantly!
