Visit Wiltshire offered a trip to Stonehenge to see the new visitor centre and the famous neolithic stone circle. On a wild wet blustery day, it was really atmospheric. Lacock at War weekend. August 19, 2014. Lacock at war weekend was really effective and realistic. I particularly liked the check point Charlie scene. Lots of jeeps, guns and folks dressed in keeping. Also liked the rock n’ roll tent. Lacock photography’s photos were better than mine! Shire Horses to Lacock.
