Got some gear to review? Click here to contribute! Friday, July 9, 2010. Well Beside being a fan of alliteration, and the color orange, this shoe really did it for me in a couple other ways as well. Pros: Incredibly lightweight. Very, very breathable. Outsole has incredible traction on slippery surfaces and rough rock with ease. I am very impressed with this shoe. Gear Review: Big Agnes Seedhouse 2
http://aosreview.blogspot.com/2010/08/big-agnes-seedhouse-2.html
Got some gear to review? Click here to contribute! Monday, August 2, 2010. Big Agnes Seedhouse 2. I love talking about tents. Tents make me feel excited. Though I rarely use them (only when it's absolutely necessary, per mosquitoes/inclement weather), I am very picky about design and little details. Even after hours of rain. The poles are bomber, and flex easily - I wasn't worried about breaking/bending at all. Cons: Kinda cramped for two people. The black mesh is really lightweight, so just be caref...

Click here to contribute! Friday, June 5, 2009. Mt Ashland Gravity Ride. Which, is why ounces get counted on all my equipment. I say all this to establish the fact that I feel you have to earn the downhill. Frank taking his sweet time! Mike trying to stay warm waiting for Frank. Mike (left) and Frank (right) tearing it up! We descended, descended, and kept descending! Despite the fact that the concept of a gravity ride goes against my conscience, I will definitely be doing it again. Monday, June 1, 2009.

http://aosdispatch.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Apr 24, 2009. Do I hate weekend warriors? I was in a conversation with a colleague (we are going to call him Frank) a few days ago regarding "weekend warriors" as he called them. This conversation turned into an interesting and fun debate. Enough so that I felt like sharing it. Well, because he "get's after it every chance he gets." I proclaimed that only made him a super weekend warrior at which point, Frank threw his hands up in disgust with me. PCTDoes the C stand for Commercialized? Recently I found ...

Got some gear to review? Click here to contribute! Monday, November 16, 2009. Jetboil 1.5L Pot. In the end, the Jetboil team has created an awesome system and the additional attachments have all been well thought out and work exceptionally well. I don't see the need to ever own another stove system for non high altitude use. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Jetboil 1.5L Pot.
