Ask me anything (no really! PaulCanBuildThat can be followed on Tumblr. The charging station is complete! You can see it in the smaller pictures how the USB charger and cords were put into the inside of the Charging Station and the cords coming out the side for the tablets and the front for the phones. Stained with blue stain and then finished with three coats of polyurethane for protection. PaulCanBuildThat can be followed on Tumblr. Charging station…Test “fit”. Yes Please. #stairs #joinery #timber #woodwork. I really like the beefy looking treads…. Yep #joinery #crazy #woodwork #bent. This is a really cool idea and technique. Gives me some ideas for extending my inlay capabilities to “through” inlays. Very nice. I might need to make a set of stools myself…. Soooo sexy, dam!

Ask me anything (no really! Good wood - simple, smart and cool as hell, the ‘bike shelf’ by Knife and Saw. Very nice. I really like the idea for a future project! Charging station…Test “fit”. A pic of the charging station during initial testing. Unfortunately, my wife’s Samsung G5 phone has a cover over the charger port, so it “leans”. But everything looks to be working (and fitting) the way I expected. Now on to staining and finishing. PaulCanBuildThat can be followed on Tumblr. While it was in the 70&p...

ALYSSA MONKS. WET PAINT. August 21st, 2009. Some people prefer to see midgets headbutting glitter spots onto rusty refrigerator doors. While that sounds like loads of fun, calling it art really diminishes the hard work and dedication it must take to perfect a style like Ms. Monks’. Check out Alyssa’s other paintings. Then go rob a few dozen 7-11’s so you can afford to buy one. Rarr; 3 Comments. MICHAEL STEEL: THE CLUSTERS. July 7th, 2009. Cool stuff from Michael Steele. Check out the rest. June 28th, 2009.

February 21, 2015. This blog is mothballed for the time being. I’ll be writing shorter-form pieces and collecting useful game development, education, and cultural resources over at notes.paulcallaghan.net. January 1, 2014. September 12, 2013. So I went back and forth, and as I did, the drafts kept spiralling back around to the same point. As I fought against it and tried to say more, the drafting process did what it was supposed to and pared things back, revealing more accurately what was sitting at ...

Paul Colley Underwater Photography | beneath the surface: making underwater images communicate
Paul Colley Underwater Photography. Beneath the surface: making underwater images communicate. To catch a trout…. From halcyon childhood summer days spent with siblings fishing a tributary of the river Wharfe, I had always been fascinated by the trout. An elusive and wily fish, it was a rare occasion when we mustered enough patience and skill to catch one. Then we would marvel at its striking beauty before gently slipping the fish back into its stream. The shutter mechanical trigger. The duck photo bomb!
