Weve spent 5 months in Austin - the longest time weve sat still in about 2 years! Weve had good times and tough ones here. When we first arrived in Austin we dealt with a freakish cold spell where it didnt get over 20 degrees for several days! It was cold in the RV! I highly recommend it to all RV owners! No more Army showers for us!

Weve temporarily moved to Collier-Seminole State park. Were very excited to see more of Floridas west coast! We found a gopher tortoise at nearby Koreshan State Park! January 2, 2012 at 5:16 PM. Sherry and Charley - Retired, Fulltiming and Lovin It! Saturday, January 28, 2012. Completed my rehab for this week yesterday. I only did 4 days this week due to not feeling well on Thursday and having to leave soon after I got started. But I got back on track yesterday. Everything continues to go well. I continue to improve every day! We are planning a nice, quiet, two days this weekend. Completed the few chores we needed to do this morning and nothing else but cooking is planned. Another Week of Rehab.

Sherry and Charley - Retired, Fulltiming and Lovin It! Saturday, March 31, 2012. Well, sometimes it feels like we are spinning our wheels at Duke Medical, but I don’t think that is the case. They are just so thorough and keep testing, testing and re-testing. Guess it is normal to get a little anxious to find out when I might get listed for the transplant. Those grandchildren of ours are growing so fast! And Cheyenne and Sadie had a grand time too, visiting with the whole family including the 4 fur babies!

She had a CT scan done Wednesday. It showed that her lower GI (bowels, colon, etc.) are not working properly. They had to take her off of the feeding tube due to this problem. I went to the rehab center 4 days this week and made some progress but not near enough. I am doing well on everything but walking. Lots of work to do on this beginning Monday.
