http://lazingatwork.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 20, 2010. My job has always been very rewarding, well not in terms of monies, but in other ways. It gives me a reason to smile every single day! Sometimes the smile becomes a laugh! Some conversations and one liners by clients over 4 odd yrs which have always made me believe that Advertising is the most fun job! Only vehicles have rear view mirrors Sir. Our Target audience will definitely understand! For some reason Blue, Red and green were colours forbidden there! The best one was dur...

quasiLabs: August 2009
http://quasitech.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Technology, lisp and life. Sunday, August 23, 2009. How to solve it. One of the books, which Alok Tiwari, a friend of mine from the old time, had suggested I read was 'How to Solve it' by G Polya. I remember being enthralled reading it. It, with Euclid's 'Elements', are the two books which have had the most impact on my method of thought. I made a quick set of slides for sharing the salient points of that book with a few friends. The book itself is written in 1945 but still is a very inspiring read.

http://quasitech.blogspot.com/2009/04/about-paradigms-and-their-importance.html
Technology, lisp and life. Wednesday, April 15, 2009. About paradigms and their importance. Mahavir and Nirvana, Badami. I was just reading this blog post by my friend Sandeep Procedural Programming is NOT a Bad Thing! And just thought I had to add some of my own blab . The key to program design and problem solutions is our ability to see these 'abstractions' and hence reduce problem space and complexity repeatedly till we have managed to 'solve' it sufficiently. Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Mohali, Punjab, India. Time will stop then. It marks the beginning of the game that every cricket lover in India and Pakistan has been waiting for. The match that makes two nations stop everything they are doing and sit glued to the TV sets. As a kid I remember, an India - Pak encounter in any format of the game was a high emotion affair. I remember sitting with Appa and watching those matches. The 1996 Quarter finals of World cup. About the Indian PM inviting the Paki PM over fo...

Monday, February 28, 2011. The past few weeks have been supremely busy! I have never complained of being overworked once I moved to Dubai. But the past 3 weeks have been killing. After those stressful weeks (which will hopefully never come back) I have arrived at certain rules that I think all Clients have developed for their agency partners. The top 10 rules are:. 2 All briefs need to being with "It was actually required yesterday". 5 All jobs are just abt 5 min jobs and agencies take forever. 9 Never r...
