Sunday, March 27, 2011. Ran 23 miles today with w/roughly 400 feet of elevation gain btwn miles 18 and 21. Was really nice to soak feet in ocean at La Jolla Shores afterwards. Brings the total weekend miles to 33. Now relaxing with Lynn at home in San Diego enjoying the sun, view, and happy to be done with my last "long" run before Boston. Only 22 more days.wahoo! Sunday, August 18, 2013. In the last few minutes before the event, final adjustments were made on cameras and settings were double- and triple-checked. There was a brief moment of silence as the sun came into view around one of the pylons at the end of the pier. Suddenly, like several machine guns all firing simultaneously, the soft sound of camera shutters clicking filled the air for the next five minutes. Yes, we will all meet again in nine months :). No and then…. Meanwhile, back at the ranch. Well… maybe not. Without the hype build up from “Meanwhile, back at the ranch”, it might not be as good. So learn to love and live with the current format of Game of Thrones (As grueling as it is), and just get excited when you see dragons! These are the weakest.
