Rename extensions with the terminal › Ryan Rampersad
https://blog.ryanrampersad.com/2015/05/11/rename-extensions-terminal
Rename extensions with the terminal. May 11, 2015. I had a directory full of files with the same extension, and a script was design to process any file in the given directory with that specific extension – to ignore the processing on a file, all I had to do was rename the extensions of all the files except the one I wanted to process specifically. There’s a great answer on Ask Ubuntu. Rename ‘s/.original$/.new/’ *.new. Published: May 11, 2015. 2016 ▪ Ryan Rampersad. Blacksquare; theme toggle.
Timehop using Go in Production › Ryan Rampersad

Timehop using Go in Production. February 26, 2015. Go is really catching on. For an web API, Go makes sense with native json awareness and great concurrency tools. I would be interested in a non-API usage of Go for a web app though. Updated: February 26, 2015. Published: February 26, 2015. 2016 ▪ Ryan Rampersad. Blacksquare; theme toggle.

Moto E – Second Generation. February 25, 2015. If the Moto E has a Snapdragon 410, what will an updated Moto G have? Can I love the future of Qualcomm again (at least in the mid-tier market)? Published: February 25, 2015. 2016 ▪ Ryan Rampersad. Blacksquare; theme toggle.
Intel: Atom x3, x5, x7 Mobile Chips › Ryan Rampersad
https://blog.ryanrampersad.com/2015/03/02/intel-x-mobile
Intel: Atom x3, x5, x7 Mobile Chips. March 2, 2015. I knew that there would be updated chips announced this week. I figure it doesn’t matter as much because it will take months for OEMs to build phones and tablets and let those get cheap enough to be worth it. The Atom Z3735 (which is from the Baytrail generation) is just slightly more performant than the Snapdragon 805 (though battery life might be a sore spot), there is great potential from Intel. Blog Archive by Year:. We've been out exploring a lot lately. and not blogging. There are a million things to do, but only so many weekends. Add in the constant battle with CA traffic and there is even less time. I vow to never complain about the traffic heading north out of the Twin Cities on a Friday afternoon in the summer if I ever get the pleasure of sitting in it again. We made it through the first year! Our first family vacation with Reese is in the books! Monday we walked down the beach to have b...

I figured if I wanted to keep commuting daily I need to upgrade my new winter bike to protect me. Fenders online were $130 and up for substandard coverage. Boom DIY. These suckers look classy if I don’t say so myself. Spotted the above birthday surprise on reddit. Things that Health Information Exchange Could fix. If you have any other q...
