http://playingandteaching.blogspot.com/2011/04/playtime.html
Saturday, April 2, 2011. Recently I had a special lesson with the I st grade where I invited the principal and my colleagues from the English department. My idea was to start off as a traditional lesson and slowly develop into an actual children's party as the theme of the lesson suggested. At the end of the lesson the kids put on the masks and other party accessories I gave them and we all sang the "Are you ready to have a party? View my complete profile. Eco-Scoala nr. 2 Galati.

Anyway, here's a little sneak peek at the play I "staged" with the Ist grade today, also as part of the Playtime! All children: Hello Punch. Hello Judy. Punch: Judy, Judy! What time is it? I don't know. Punch, what time is it? Let's have a party! We then designed party invitations :. While Bianca was still immersed in her dreamworld of pretty horses : ). View my complete profile. Playing & Teaching: "I do like to be beside the seaside"
http://playingandteaching.blogspot.com/2011/05/i-do-like-to-be-beside-seaside.html
Friday, May 6, 2011. I do like to be beside the seaside". Anyway I had a really relaxing day at school yesterday, of course the 6th graders had to ruin it at the end by playing soccer in the classroom, fighting with food, stealing each other’s schoolbags and calling each other names. Other than that the day went by quiet and uneventful and before I left home I took some pics of the bird cages in our schoolyard. View my complete profile. Eco-Scoala nr. 2 Galati. Saturday, May 14, 2011. Do schools kill creativity? Speaking of creativity, here's what a 6th grade student of mine famously signing all his test papers Darth Vader wrote in one of the tasks requiring that the students write a ghost story starting with "In the autumn of 1849 I reached the castle on the hill.":. In the autumn 1849 I reached the castle on the hill. Once I realized it was haunted I GTFO.". Internet slang used in creative compositions. How avantgardist. View my complete profile.

Sunday, August 26, 2012. British Council Extra English Course. The Book of Ireland. Saturday, August 25, 2012. I've been really busy last year and blogging was the last thing on my mind but i thought i might as well carry on, and keep track of the lovely activities i've done with the kids. Last year i had the "privilege" of being class master of a very naughty 5th grade, so i struggled to keep order in the class by establishing a set of rules we came up with together :.
