No Action | McAlisterium

https://mcalisterium.wordpress.com/2014/11/23/no-action

It’s been a long time without an update. It’s not. That I’ve not being doing much, there has been the odd bothy trip and some new trails ridden, but sometimes real life gets in the way. There’s not been much weekend adventure to speak of. The summer saw us up sticks and move along the coast to ‘The Fife Riviera’ which involved a bit of a layover with (almost) everything in storage for five weeks. Since we got in at the end of August much of my time (and all of my money! November 23, 2014. If nothing else...

MTB Innerwick Stravaiger: September 2014

http://mtbstravaiger73.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html

Tuesday, 23 September 2014. Redheugh Salmon Station and Siccar Point Revisited. A weeks holiday and for most of the week we had nothing but fog, fog and yet more fog, but for one day midweek there was a clear day for a cycle and I fancied going back down to Redheugh Salmon Station and Siccar Point just along the coast in the Scottish Borders, so taking advantage of the fair weather I hit the road and took off. Leaving Innerwick heading east taking the hill roads towards the village of Cockburnspath.

MTB Innerwick Stravaiger: May 2014

http://mtbstravaiger73.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html

Thursday, 22 May 2014. A Pre Work Pedal. Wednesday was a scorching sunny day and too good to waste tinkering around in the garden before backshift at work, so it was out with the bike and a wee workout up to Blackcastle Tower where on sunny days the views are great, so off I went. Every time I cycle past this substation I always end up having the song 'Electric Avenue' by Eddy Grant stuck in my head! Oh no, we gonna rock down to electric avenue and then we'll take it higher'. Blackcastle tower, I have no...

MTB Innerwick Stravaiger: August 2014

http://mtbstravaiger73.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html

Saturday, 9 August 2014. Introducing Scott To The Area. I recently bought a new bike to add to the armoury of bikes, the Scott 'Scale 760'. So with working shifts, kids on the school holidays and heavy downpours of rain etc etc it was a wee while before I had the chance to get out on it for a blast around the area to introduce the bike to it's new surroundings. Taking the upper level pathway where you are a few feet higher so you can get better views out to sea. Very impressed with Scott so far. Leaving ...

Lil ol’ me | Gravitysucks

https://enotsnad.wordpress.com/about

Pain is temporary, glory lasts slightly longer…. Lil ol’ me. Lil ol’ me. Likes – Adventures in the outdoors, getting dirty and pink bleumonge. Dislikes – Mud guards, irony and Walnut Whips. Ok, so why am I doing this? I’m aiming for some regular short term goals as well as always having “The Big” long term goal on the horizon. The plan is to always to have something to aim for whether its two weeks away or two years. So when I have the blips in the road there’s something t...Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

A room with a view | Gravitysucks

https://enotsnad.wordpress.com/2014/03/03/a-room-with-a-view

Pain is temporary, glory lasts slightly longer…. Lil ol’ me. A room with a view. March 3, 2014. Out with the old, in with the new…. To be fair it’s been a busy month and I expect things to get easier as we go along. The new bike build is coming along nicely, although seemingly drawn out waiting for niche bike parts to land from shores of far. The bivvy equipment has been dug and dusted off and I’ve even managed to find time to sort out GPS tracker to stop me from getting too lost. Heading up on to Alport...

MTB Innerwick Stravaiger: July 2015

http://mtbstravaiger73.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html

Friday, 31 July 2015. Goobye Grey Sky Hello Blue. This summer I planned a few wild camps, but where's the fun with no sun? Anyway managing to drag myself away from my polytunnel and garden chores I fancied giving the legs and lungs a bit of punishment and head up hill through the Crystal Rigg wind farm into the Lammermuir hills to pick up a geocache and trig point that's been on my radar for a wee while now, so off for the hills I went. A good sign to see was the workmen strimming the pathway down the Sh...

MTB Innerwick Stravaiger: June 2015

http://mtbstravaiger73.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html

Tuesday, 30 June 2015. Rocky Mountain To Wester Dod. With my new "Rocky Mountain" full suspension bike purchase I was mad keen to get out for a blast, but with my abnormal work shift pattern and family duties I had to wait more or less a whole week before I could get out on it for a spin. Heading off into the hills and just now everything is growing so fast with every shade of green that you can imagine on display. Arriving at Aikengall farm and onto the rough stuff, I stopped to survey the area for cows!

MTB Innerwick Stravaiger: March 2014

http://mtbstravaiger73.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html

Monday, 24 March 2014. Sunday morning was a nice sunny one, so a wee trip along by the coast and a return trip up the hill roads and trails back home was required, nothing too strenuous today as I'm on night shift tonight and have a few jobs to do in the garden that I've put off for too long, so on with the ride. Crossing the A1 road onto the old Skateraw road towards the beach, passing this field with huge furrows in preparation for planting the tatties. Maybe this 4-5 mile section will be re-named?

There is more than one way to assign a keyboard shortcut to an AppleScript file. The simple method I outline in this post does not require a third-party scripting utility or fussing with Automator. You accomplish this feat by using a specific set of characters in the filename of your script. Script-name smG.scpt = SHIFT-CMD-G.

It's not small but it's not too big either. Good build quality. Feels solid, not cheap - kinda like an Apple MacBook charger. Port selection seems a little random. 2.1A, 1.3A, 2.1A, 1.0A, 1.0A. There's probably a good explanation for it. Whatever. No obvious manual. Good. No waste of paper. Could it be better?
