Suncoast Living: DTR
http://suncoastliving.blogspot.com/2009/04/dtr.html
Sunday, April 19, 2009. Brad and I had a chat this weekend. I told him while we were running errands that I needed to "talk." He asked sheepishly, "Is this going to be a DTR? DTR is code for Define The Relationship, a common chat with early-dating couples.) "Yes, it is a DTR. We need to define our relationship with time and money," I replied. Here are the knowns:. Brad has a job at the university indefinitely. This provides income and health insurance. He would like to quit yesterday. I've been offered a...

Suncoast Living: A lovely weekend
http://suncoastliving.blogspot.com/2009/04/lovely-weekend.html
Thursday, April 02, 2009. She is loving her increased greens diet: a large handful of kale, romaine lettuce, flat leaf parsley, curly parsley, and cilantro. Thank heavens it's all pretty cheap at Target. She also has enjoyed a new part of her diet: power cables. Our new scanner/printer/fax had a particularly tasty power cord. Brad had to splice it back together. Not cute, Bunny. In other news, Brad ate a burrito! That's where Carl and I honeymooned - I'd LOVE to see more pictures. Living the Seaver Life.

Suncoast Living: May Catch-up
http://suncoastliving.blogspot.com/2009/06/may-catch-up.html
Monday, June 01, 2009. Brad finished his graduate certification as a Compliance Specialist at the end of April. While he was busy at his last weekend of class I borrowed the kiddies for a little Mother's Day project. We went to the craft store and bought etching cream, then went to Old Time Pottery and bought glass plates, platters, and vases to paint for Shelley for Mother's Day! Each kid did two plates, Bethany chose a vase, and Chase chose a platter. They did a great job and we had a lot of fun! She h...

Suncoast Living: BRAD IS NOT PREGNANT.
http://suncoastliving.blogspot.com/2009/04/brad-is-not-pregnant.html
Thursday, April 16, 2009. BRAD IS NOT PREGNANT. And neither am I, for that matter. Funny thing happened last night, though, and the moral of the story is, don't take your drugs in the dark. Take that literally. And I'm having zero allergy symptoms today! In other news, the count is at T-minus-10 days until Brad is done with his program! He will soon be a Certified Compliance Specialist! Mark and Kim Georgie's Owners Andy and Jessica Brad and Kath. It pains me to think of it! It broke my heart! Cute thing...

Suncoast Living: I'll take it as a compliment
http://suncoastliving.blogspot.com/2009/03/ill-take-it-as-compliment.html
Thursday, March 19, 2009. I'll take it as a compliment. I've recently decided to take up running. I need to exercise, but am too impatient for walking. After my SECOND RUN this week (so very proud), I jumped in the shower before Brad got home to take me out to dinner. I came upon this little peeping tom on our window:. Now that our days in Florida are numbered (we don't know the exact number yet) I'm taking more notice of things we won't see up north. Like geckos on the bathroom window. The Hope of Glory.

Suncoast Living: A little change...
http://suncoastliving.blogspot.com/2009/04/little-change.html
Wednesday, April 22, 2009. So we won't be in Pennsylvania after all. I just learned that that position was given to someone else. I was offered a position in Chestertown, Maryland. Middle of nowhere, Maryland. Anyone know anything about it? Yeah, it's only when you let go and turn everything upside down that things come. I think I married a wise man. Sweet dreams, loved ones. Suncoast Living: Friends!!!
http://suncoastliving.blogspot.com/2009/06/friends.html
Monday, June 01, 2009. This past week we have seen peace restored to the Bressler house! But we were wrong! Georgie cemented her nose to the floor, begging Vinny for kisses! And we had no fights at all! This was a true surprise! And they've gotten along pretty well ever since! Then give some sniffs and tentative licks. Then full on grooming. Brad hopped in to give them some pets. And since then (this past weekend) we've caught Georgie giving Vinny some licks! Home is happy again! The life and times of tw...

Suncoast Living: Here she is, on the mend
http://suncoastliving.blogspot.com/2009/03/here-she-is-on-mend.html
Friday, March 13, 2009. Here she is, on the mend. Nom, nom, nom. Parsley is to rabbits what chicken soup is to humans. So soothing. I like to hide in the corner so I can't be picked up and force-fed medicine. But I don't want cold paws from the tile. A towel, folded, please. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
