Shaun McDonald's Blog. Football matches at Portman Road banned due to congestion. Every match day or evening match at Portman Road. There is significant congestion and air pollution increases in Ipswich. There have also been reports of parents getting stuck in the traffic and having to pull over to comfort their young baby until the traffic calmed down, with the town now being a no-go area on match days. Suffolk County Council as part of their greenest county. Produce and implement a travel plan. There&#...
What if drivers really had to think horse towards cyclists | Shaun McDonald's Blog

Shaun McDonald's Blog. What if drivers really had to think horse towards cyclists. On Sunday I was cycling from near Needham Market back towards Ipswich along National Cycle Route 51, when an incident occurred that reminded me of the Nice Way Code’s “Think Horse” video. It got me wondering what if car drivers had to treat me the same way I had to treat that horse? As a bit of background to the video and campaign I’ll leave it for Bez/Beyond the Kerb’s excellent and detailed blog post. Now going back to t...

Shaun McDonald's Blog. Suffolk Roadsafe to bring road safety campaign to many more travellers. After complaints about significantly increased levels of aggression on the roads, I’ve heard about some radical new plans by Suffolk’s Roadsafe team. To make sure that their education programme gets to every road user in Suffolk. The poster campaigns, tv adverts, the website, and road shows are only allowing them to talk to a very small proportion of people who drive, cycle, or walk in Suffolk. They are also pl...

Shaun McDonald's Blog. Cycle theft advice that could hinder cycle use. Last week I noticed a couple of tweets from Edinburgh South Police suggesting that you should remove the seat or a wheel when you store it in a shed on the grounds that many bikes are cycled away. You may not be up to yellow jersey standard but if you have a bike in your shed: consider alarm and remove the seat or single wheel (1/2). Mdash; EdinburghSouthPolice (@EdinSouthPolice) July 26, 2015. Trelock: RS450 frame lock. I wonder if t...

Shaun McDonald's Blog. The rise of the parent of young children cycle campaigner. Over the past few years I’ve noticed a huge rise in the number of parents, particularly of younger pre-teenage children getting involved with cycle campaigning. This was particularly evident in the discussions at the November 2014 Cycle Ipswich meeting, where several parents commented about the problems that they have with cycling locally with children. Of course one cheap solution, such as what is happening in Haddington.

Agile software development and programming - one lesson at a time. Wednesday, 11 January 2017. Most projects have some form of convention. Examples would include:. Attributes/Properties for REST API's. Inheritance for third party base types. Assemblies/Packages for third party code that is loaded dynamically. Folder or namespace conventions. And many other forms of conventions. In a few of these examples static analysis can detect issues, but the majority of these problems would resolve only at runtime.

Simple and offer quick cash fast online does cash advance cash advance. It worksthe trouble or months. A colleague at work was recently asked to gather requirements from his users before progressing some clever ideas he had about some of our products. He responded with a Henry Ford quote from many years ago: “If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses”. In fact our industry IS changing. Also I think there is a new bread of technology professional required here. I think...
