February 23, 2014. We lost our cat- she was 17 so had a good life, but she hated, hated the earthquakes and spent her last few months scared and jumpy. We’ve lost friends who have given up and moved away unable to face it here any more. We’ve lost our local shops- in fact all the main shops in this area are closed.
