Viimeiset laskut ja takaisin Suomeen. Lisäksi tuli laskettua rinteessä ja rinteen vieressä pääosin tuulen kovaksi pakkaamaa lunta. Ei varsinaisesti mitään puuteria. Näihin laskuihin oli hyvä päättää neljän viikon keikka Zillertalissa. Jonkinlainen koostevideo tulee vielä, kun vain löytyy aikaa editoida. Loppuu vielä muutama sekalainen kuva. Monthly Archives: June 2016. Espanja, osa 2: Chulilla. Cuencassa kahlattiin epäuskoisina loskassa autolle ja näpyteltiin navigaattorin määränpääksi joku satunnainen pikkukylä jossain Cuencan ja Chulillan välillä. Olisi ollut tylsää ajaa suoraan valtatietä perille, kun voi seikkailla hienoissa maisemissa, aikaa kun oli siirtymään varattu koko päivä. Tie vei läpi lukuisten pienten kylien ja seikkaili vuorten rinteitä ylös ja alas, välillä. Kiipeilyä Espanjassa, osa 1: Cuenca.

Kiipeilyä Espanjassa, osa 1: Cuenca. Cuenca on Kastilia -La Manchan itsehallintoalueella sijaitseva reilun 50 000 ihmisen asuttama, vanha kaupunki, joka linnoituksineen huokuu keskiaikaista tunnelmaa. Eli vaikka kiipeily ei sujuisikaan, on kaupunki itsessään käymisen arvoinen. Kiipeilyalueena Cuenca on ollut harrastajien suosiossa muutamia kymmeniä vuosia ja nyt ehkä hieman paitsioon jäänyt, kun paikat kuten Margalef, Siurana ja El Chorro ovat olleet enemmän esillä. Reitillä El Chulo del Corral, 6c.

Monthly Archives: December 2014. Schnee, snö, snow, lumi. Saavuimme Itävallan Zell am Zilleriin, Zillertalin laaksoon viime torstaina. Lento Helsingistä Müncheniin lähti 16:20 ja kimppataksipalvelun kyydittämänä kämpän ovella oltiin n. 6 tuntia myöhemmin. Ei kovinkaan kummoinen lähestyminen siis. Viime kauden vähälumisen talven jälkeen toiveissa oli päästä laskemaan hienoja laskuja jo alkukaudesta, mutta lumitilanne Alpeilla on vuodenaikaan nähden erittäin huono. Pari viikkoa laskukauden avaukseen.
