Saturday, July 30, 2011. Tokyo's oldest Buddhist temple, Sensō-ji. Is located in Asakusa. There are lots of shops on the way to the temple, and I felt like many had mostly the same things (charms for mobile phones, etc). Nakamise shopping street. It leads to Sensō-ji. I was surprised when I saw this symbol (swastika) being used in Japan, because it is strongly associated with Nazism. However, it was used already long before the Nazi Party decided to adopt it.
