Stephen B. Lee Photography: February 2010

http://blog.stephenblee.com/2010_02_01_archive.html

Friday, February 12, 2010. I started this project on the premise that it would allow me to see better pictures and find better subjects.  I can attest that it is doing it’s job.  I see myself looking at ordinary, everyday items and asking myself “I wonder what that would look like from another angle? 8221; or “What sort of detail could I capture zoomed in really tight on this object? Enjoy my latest updates! 2/8/10 - Day 39 - Tools of the Trade. 2/9/10 - Day 40 - Hundred Watt. 2/11/10 - Day 42 - L is for.

Happy-Lee Ever After: July 2010

http://georgialeefamily.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html

Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Well, the long July 4th weekend has come to a close. It really was a wonderful weekend! We spent the weekend down at the Farm. Caleb's first question as we pulled up to the farm was "Where is the tractor? And that kind of sums up how the weekend went. He was on the move getting to try all sorts of new things. Caleb went on tractor rides with his Daddy, golf cart rides, ate MANY peaches (the 4th is the annual peach jam making trip! It pretty much stayed like that the whole weekend.

http://georgialeefamily.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

Friday, April 30, 2010. Out of the Mouths of Kids. I love funny things kids say. The conversation last night at dinner with Caleb was no exception. The scene: Dinner table. Fussy Caleb who has just finished a growth spurt.therefore, he wants to eat nothing. He starts to play with his food, so we take it away. Stephen: Caleb, don't play with your food at the table. Mommy worked very hard to cook this meal for us, so just try a bite. I want down. EXCUSED? Tami: Do you want your food back? I want to cry!

http://georgialeefamily.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

Monday, March 15, 2010. I love being a Mommy! A friend showed me this today, and I thought it was totally blog-worthy. I can't take credit for the words, but I totally "get" their meaning. Of course, I had to include a mommy-moment picture, as well! Real Mothers don't eat quiche;. They don't have time to make it. Real Mothers know that their kitchen utensils. Are probably in the sandbox. Real Mothers often have sticky floors,. Filthy ovens and happy kids. Real Mothers know that dried play dough. The beau...

Thursday, June 10, 2010. So I won't ever forget. Caleb, you really do make me laugh every single day. Here are a few tidbits of things you have said or done lately that have made me laugh:. I love how you say sunglasses. "Mommy, I need my funglasses! You got your toy phone out the other day and called up your girlfriend Kate and said "Hey Kate! You gotta go potty? You go cook dinner! With your hands out to your side. It is the same response every time and I love it! You are very good at it! You love to h...

Stephen Allan Photography | Nature, Landscape, Travel, and Life Photography

Nature, Landscape, Travel, and Life Photography. What an adventure the last couple weeks were for us in Thailand. We only hit a couple of the major spots but it was all the more exciting as our friends Juli and Mike joined us for about 12 days. Longtail Boat at the beach on Koh Phi Phi Don. After our day of diving we headed back on a ferry to spend a night on Ko Phi Phi Don. This is the way Thailand used to be, no cars and lots of palm trees lining the crystal clear water! Stephen Arnold Music | The Most Heard, Least Known Composers In America

The Most Heard, Least Known Composers In America. Long Live The King. Posted by Whitney Arnold. On May 19, 2015. In the world of music be it blues, rock, pop or even country there are few names as revered as B.B. King. He was a pioneer of popularizing a sound that had been brewing along the banks of the Mississippi for generations. As a very young man in the mid-‘90s, I was lucky enough to see B.B. King at the (then) recently rejuvenated, and now defunct, Bronco Bowl. In Dallas, TX. It did not disappoint...

Convert to RGB 565. You’d think it would be trivial to convert an image to RGB 565 format (16 bits per pixel, using 5 bits for red, 6 for green (since our eyes are more sensitive to it) and 5 for blue). This format was popular years ago, and is making a come back in the mobile arena where most video hardware supports only 16 bpp. In fact, the OpenGL ES standard only allows 16 bpp. Yet none of the popular image editing software presents you a way to do this. The Death of a Close Friend. February 14th, 2010. This past week a close companion of mine passed on from this plane. After a long battle against multiple organ failure, its physical form couldn’t take the strain any longer. Of course, I’m talking about my computer. I have been lucky to not have to deal with my human friends and family passing on *knocks on wood till his fingers bleed*. So, once I’ve got the new machine built, I’ll be taking my old one over to Earthworm. Awesome Song of the Moment:.
