Quiz Night - 16 November 2008. T he quiz night was held at the Cosham Masonic Centre on 16 November and was extremely well attended with around 100 people taking part. The venue was generously offered by Trevor Darcy and Chris Jenkins and many people kindly gave their time and contributed to the organisation and running of the evening that went without problem and allowed for a fun night to be had by all who were there. Welcome to my Web site! Hello my name is Jazmin and would like to start by saying a big thank you for taking the time to visit my website. This page is to let you know a little about me and my start in life and to introduce you to my family. So here goes. I was born 13 weeks premature on the 5. The doctors seem to think that my brain was damaged when I was about 2 months old due to one of these infections. Despite all the odds I fought against the infections and finally managed to feel a little better.

Cerebral palsy is a general term that describes a group of conditions that cause movement problems. The most common type is spastic cerebral palsy where the muscles are stiff and rigid in one or more limbs. The underlying problem is damage or faulty development in a part of the brain which usually occurs sometime before birth. Cells are first collected from the patient’s bone marrow, extracted from the hipbone (iliac crest). This procedure is done under local anaesthetic and takes around 30 minutes.
