You think you have obstacles? While I was working yesterday I watched Monday’s episode of Dancing With the Stars. One of the finalists was Noah Galloway, a former Army soldier. He was injured during the Iraq war, losing his left arm above the elbow and left leg above the knee. He danced to Titanium by David Guetta and Sia and the Fix You (Remix) by Coldplay. It’s that time of year again. A few years ago a sweet friend of mine gave me a great idea. Her preschool class took yarn pieces and put them in a suet. They placed the suet in a tree and the birds would find building materials for their nests. I chose purple yarn since purple and birds always remind me of Joe. No sadness in the joy. Sadie came home from college yesterday. Now that she is 21 we were able to go to happy hour together. We had a drink and shared appetizers. It had been a few weeks since we had seen each other. We sat and talked about everything from grades to grandparents. She is now officially a senior in college. It was so nice to catch up with her.
