Monday, 22 October 2012. OFF TO THE PRINTERS WITH YOU. 4AM was set off to the printers for this morning. It's finally happening! A project 9 months in the making (and actually my final university project as well) is well and truly a labour of love. I'm really glad i've sen it through to the end after all the problems it hit along the way. I'm picking it up from the printers on Thursday. So recently when colouring my major project i've been working on layers; one colour and one lines to keep the colours loose. The colour layer always looks interesting and it got me thinking how the lines ground the image and the colour layer without them is abstract in the way that it is harder to read what's going on. Monday, 7 May 2012. It's Just this' was a good story to use because i had no preconceptions of what i wanted it to really look like, like i normally do with my comics. Meaning i had no hang ups and was free to purely take the signatures from each directors and apply it to the narrative in order to tell it.
