The day-to-day happenings in the Sirois family. Lets Go Fly A Kite. When the wind is right it's tough to pass up the opportunity. There is a field not far from our home with no trees and no power lines. It's just begging for a kite flying day. Trip to St. Louis. Girls at the Arch. At the City Museum. Audree Learning to Ice Skate. The weather was even celebrating by letting up for the day allowing us to have a picnic outside! Audree's first time rollerskating! Despite a valiant effort. Audree looks forward to this every year, and this was Juliette's first time joining us. It rained a little on the way up to Smithville Lake (and stormed like crazy back home, we even had some water make it into the ceiling of the kitchen). Things started off great! The day-to-day happenings in the Sirois family. I took Audree camping at Smithville Lake. Weather was great, but the water was cold. It raind for about 15 min, just enough to cool off. She found a skunk just a few yards away while playing. Lucilly they both minded their own business and kept some distance. FOUND: 1 Baby Bunny. I'll be un-bloggerly and back date post into the appropriate months. Audree's Dasie Scout troop from school participated in a Pinewood Derby this weekend. She was torn between the ice cream sandwich design. And the Oscar Mayer hotdog car. Check out photo #92 of 126). Here she is putting on the pièce de résistance. All and all, a pretty good day!

Friday, February 22, 2013. Hours later we (the littles and myself, Jeff was sleeping having been on duty the night before) decided we'd try to get out and play at McDonald's. We promptly got stuck and the end of our street and 3 neighbors had to get us out. It's calm and sunny out. The big kids are constantly heading out to play. Tuesday, October 15, 2013. Kansas City Rennaissance Festival 2013. We go every year, but I think this one was my very favorite. The weather was perfect, everybody felt great, there was little arguing. Five pirates and a flower fairy. We all wanted pics with the tiniest pirate. Friday, November 9, 2012. Imagine Dragons played Kansas City in September and we were graced with a visit from lead singer (my cousin) Dan Reynolds. Their show was on Sunday so we couldn't see them play. BIG time bummer, but we were promised free tickets when they come back through town. The band's popularity is growing by leaps and bounds. We brought in our freshly picked pumpkins and went to work. Here are the results! Juliette's, Audree's, Dad's (Juliette's is doubling as Mom's since she did all the work).
