Seagull: May Video and Sundry
http://katyseagull.blogspot.com/2013/06/may-video-and-sundry.html
Here shall you see no enemy but winter and rough weather. Thursday, June 27, 2013. May Video and Sundry. Finally got around to making a May video! It is extra long because we went to Disneyland when we thought Danny had cancer again, and I could not sell the happiest place on earth short. Jealousy.); my dearest darling Whitney is home from her mission so now I get to plan how I will save my pennies that I am no longer earning on a flight to Wisconsin to kiss attack her; my lovely local friend Tara is...

211 Inches: The Height and Happenings of a Really Tall Family: December 2014
http://themarvelousmckies.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
December 17, 2014. And I had a baby. Clearly time has gotten away from me. I don't forget about blogging, it's seriously on my mind all the time. I however let guilt get me where I think "but I need to load the dishwasher, I don't NEED to blog.". I might need to change that. Let's start simple, HEY I HAD A BABY! I was induced a week early. So I made this picture mostly for myself. He was a week old in the picture and back up to his whopping birth weight of 10 lbs 10 oz! However, 3 pushes and he was out!

May 10, 2014. This is a post all about Jack! I haven't done or update much about how school is actually going! We are coming to the end, (of a chapter, finals and board are quickly approaching) it's nice to see a light at the end of the tunnel. Seriously, isn't he so handsome! This gets my heart pumping a little bit. Jack, having already been to basic training, was able to suit up and participate in the 9/11 Ceremony. I am a real sucker for his Uniform. I think he looks SO good in it! His team didn't win...

211 Inches: The Height and Happenings of a Really Tall Family: December 2013
http://themarvelousmckies.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
December 26, 2013. 2013 has been the best for our little family. Seriously, the best! Jack rocks at medical school. It is hard, and he does study all the time. Colt recognizes the school as Daddy's permanent location. Even when we are all in the car and just driving by, that's where Daddy exists. Jack has really taken advantage of the woods around here and became a bow hunter, nabbing both a buck and a doe on the same day! Amanda and her two handsome men. December 18, 2013. I did a few funny posts about ...

211 Inches: The Height and Happenings of a Really Tall Family: July 2014

July 5, 2014. This is your fair warning, there are a lot of. Pictures in this post. (they are super cute, but proceed at your own risk). These shoes were originally purchased for my little brother. (He just got married) They were the shoes that, because they were brand name, were then passed around to most of my cousins to wear camping. They are of sentimental value to my entire extended family. And here we have my little Colt sporting them! Someone had to yell for me to see what was going on. This is th...

211 Inches: The Height and Happenings of a Really Tall Family: February 2015
http://themarvelousmckies.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
February 26, 2015. Typical Things We Do. We have days I am sure like anyone else:. We stare at the baby's face and eyes. We cross our fingers that the blue eyes don't change. We put our hands out like bear claws when mom says "Hey, smile for the camera! We entertain the baby with independently motorized trains circling 'round and 'round that he can't touch. We sit by daddy, waiting patiently until it's time to WRESTLE! We request to have our pictures taken and then "I see the picture goin' on? I am sure ...

March 1, 2013. In the words of Liz Lemon "BLURG! This post is going to be so depressing. Very wordy, and argh, I just hope I covey myself appropriately. March 1st marks what would be my twins 3rd birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY my little sweethearts. Last year, I did a really good job of posting something really up beat and "Happy Birthday" oriented for it. This year, to an extent I still feel that way. But it's about time I am honest with myself, and maybe it helps someone out there. Will feel as though I am b...

June 1, 2015. We eat peanut butter. Lots of it. Around here peanut butter is always of plentiful supply. I stopped buying smaller jars and we just buy the giant canisters now. Usually, a peanut butter sandwich request is accompanied with a short round of "peanut butter jelly time." Usually, he will substitute jelly with whatever co-condiment he would like. For instance peanut butter chocolate time (nutella) or honey etc. It's almost heartbreaking to dig into this perfection. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
