ふと気が向いて、島田明宏著 消えた天才騎手 最年少ダービージョッキー 前田長吉の奇跡 という本を買いました。 JRA賞馬事文化賞をこの本が受賞していて、私もありちゃんも名馬 クリフジ の名前は知っていたので 読んでみたいね と言っていたことを覚えています。 あれほどの名馬 注 クリフジのこと とともに大舞台に立つことは、騎手としてこの上ない幸せであり、名誉であることは疑いようもないが、もう一度人生をリセットしてやり直せるとしたら、彼はクリフジに乗って出征する道と、クリフジに乗れないが出征せずに済む道のどちらを選ぶだろうか。 それを忘れずに、その上でこれを繰り返さないようにするにはどうしたらいいのかを考え、ただ 戦争はダメだよ ではなく どうして戦争がダメなのか という自分なりの理由を見つけ 多分これが見つからないと あなたのためなんだから勉強しなさい というのと同じくらい薄っぺらい言葉になってしまうと思うので 、そして次の世代につないでいくこと。 さすがJRA賞馬事文化賞と思うとともにこれや 優駿 が馬事文化賞なんだから、 じゃじゃ馬グルーミン UP! Typically the weather was wet again, and driving through Leicester it was very wet, so much that I had to take shelter in a petrol station for a while.
