These are pictures, Look at them. Flashing The Camera (Sort of). Senior English and Journalism major Taylor Prater attempts to keep from going blind while studio strobes explode in her face. (TCU/ Matt Coffelt). I know this weeks assignment was to use fill flash, but I did that in our first assignment when I shot Kim. So I decided to break it up a little and decided to explore some more dramatic lighting with off camera strobes. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Flashing The Camera (So...

October | 2012 | Matt Coffelt Photography
https://mattcoffelt.wordpress.com/2012/10
These are pictures, Look at them. Monthly Archives: October 2012. An assistant holds an umbrella over a photographer while the new Frogs for the Cure video was being shot in Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, TX. (TCU/ Matt Coffelt). We were tasked with shooting weather pictures this weekend, but I was in Stillwater for most of the weekend where it was sunny and barely cold enough to warrant a sweater. So I used some pictures that were taken earlier this month when there actually was some weather.

These are pictures, Look at them. Exploring Depth of Field. Members of the TCU marching band perform during the half-time of the TCU vs. Iowa State football game on Oct. 6 at Amon G. Carter stadium in Fort Worth, TX. (Matt Coffelt/ TCU). This picture was taken with the school’s 7D with the 70-200, 2.8 telephoto lens. It was shot wide open at 2.8 so to get as much light as possible because it was getting dark at the time and also to get the depth of field to be as shallow as possible. Next post →. The pro...

(TCU/ Matt Coffelt). I know I did sports photography last week, but this week there was a big enough change in my shooting football that it warranted another post. This week I had the opportunity to shoot with a 300mm 2.8 lens. Fit the bill to rent it for the Tech game this weekend. Running back Andre Dean runs through the Texa...
