These are my thoughts about doing, building, and living. Why I Wear a Disco Ball. It’s hard for me to explain how I got into this situation and in many ways it’s embarrassing. My hope in sharing my story is that someone can learn from it. The first time it felt real. I had been waiting for about 3 hours before I started to really get worried. I had told everyone else that I’d be fine, that I didn’t need their help. She’d let me stay with her. I’d have a place to stay. Words like “failure” and...It wasn&r...

the here and now

The here and now. Wednesday, July 28, 2010. At the beginning of July I had the chance to help out Simon Upton, one of the UK's most prominent interior photographers, during his trip to Moscow. As I have come to learn technical excellence for a photographer of Simon's profile. As well as being great company Simon knows his interiors. We came across a print by Piranesi. One of photojournalism earliest masterpieces. Here. The effects are far reaching. This particular shoot with Simon was in an apartment...

Will You Ltd | Keeping you up to date with the world of Wills, Trusts and Powers of Attorney

The other names for this type of trust are Family Trusts or Spousal By-pass Trusts. It’s nothing to do with airline pilots! A Pilot in this sense is the one that goes before, the forerunner, like this tug guiding the Concordia. Hence the Pilot Trust is set up during your lifetime with a notional 10, say, attached to it as the asset. This is the forerunner, as it is added to later on. Maybe on death, from a Will, a life cover, or a pension plan death benefit. What is the point of a Pilot Trust? Let’...

From so simple a beginning | Evolution and Biodiversity

From so simple a beginning. About Willy van Strien. Prepared to have a meal. Even a sedentary antlion has a capacity for learning. All that an antlion larva has to do once he has made his pitfall, is sit there and wait for a prey to come. Over the weeks, he learns to anticipate the arrival of a prey, Karen Hollis discovered. Just Wanderin'
