I learned that there are some pretty shots to be had in the many little valleys on the East side of Highway 1 as well as the classic Big Sur Coastline. The sorrel under the redwoods was fantastic, even with the current drought. This is the fantastic 80ft. McWay Waterfall located near Julia Peiffer Burns State Park. We camped about 15 minutes north of here. Another shot of the McWay Waterfall. This is just a little forest path near our campground.
