In Zandvoort you can find ice cream parlours. And ice cream kiosks down in the village but even if you are on the beach you don't miss out . the beach pavilions all sell ice cream and there are also ice cream vendors who drive up the beach on sunny days, usually in a tractor towing a small ice cream cart behind. Nov 26, 2009. Ice Cream - At Night! Something we always enjoy on a trip to Zandvoort is an ice cream treat at the San Remo ice cream parlour. If you read our Ice Cream In Zandvoort. Post you will already know that! One evening we had been out to dinner with a friend (an expert in Zandvoort weather) and afterwards we took a stroll down Haltestraat and called in at the San Remo. Sep 30, 2011. Circuit Zandvoort - Racing Circuit. Has for many years been a key attraction for people to come and visit this small Dutch coastal resort. Motor racing was popular in the area as far back as the 1930s when the local VVV organised races on the north side of Zandvoort. At first a basic circuit was used but for safety reasons soon led to the need for a proper, self contained racing circuit and 112 hectares of dune land was turned into a 4 km racing track in 1941. Took place in 1985.
