thepunkrockmom: hello again
http://thepunkrockmom.blogspot.com/2010/09/hello-again.html
All moms are welcome! Tuesday, September 28, 2010. I haven't posted a blog in over 10 days. I've been meaning to. Plenty of blog worthy things have happened to me. Well funny things I think would entertain you. Or at least make you smile. Laugh maybe. I just, well, theres no good excuse. I've just been, well, overwhelmed lately. I have my hands in too many pots I guess you could say. Trying to be a good wife. Trying to be a good mom. Trying to follow Jesus with all my heart. I am a procrastinator. When I...

it's all good in the motherhood: Killing Them With Kindness
http://foursillykids.blogspot.com/2012/11/killing-them-with-kindness.html
It's all good in the motherhood. Taking it day-by-day and laughing as we go. Wednesday, November 28, 2012. Killing Them With Kindness. One random day this summer, my kids were in rare form. The fighting and bickering in this house between my shorties had reached epic levels, and I was handing out punishments and time-outs like they were Tic-Tacs. Mentally exhausted from a day of breaking up fights, and playing the role of referee, I decided that we would all sit down to a family dinner. I switched gears&...

it's all good in the motherhood: November 2011
http://foursillykids.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
It's all good in the motherhood. Taking it day-by-day and laughing as we go. Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Because we all could use a little magic. I just know he knows. He knows that I know. He knows that I know that he knows. At least I think. How could he not. He is 11-years old, after all, and logic has set into his growing brain. He hasn't spoken of his knowledge, however. It is The Unspoken topic in our home. Cure cancer one day, so who am I to crush the dreams of a believer like that? I just know it.

it's all good in the motherhood: And for my next trick, I will scream my head off.
http://foursillykids.blogspot.com/2010/04/and-for-my-next-trick-i-will-scream-my.html
It's all good in the motherhood. Taking it day-by-day and laughing as we go. Monday, April 26, 2010. And for my next trick, I will scream my head off. As I was down the basement storage area this afternoon getting extra chairs, tables and tablecloths, I died. I literally saw the light and lived to tell of it. All because of a snake down my basement. A water moccasin to be exact. I think. Kind of. Well, it was at least. So this is how it was going to end. It's been real. Nice knowing you, Earth. That thin...

it's all good in the motherhood: There's Always Time for Kindness
http://foursillykids.blogspot.com/2012/11/theres-always-time-for-kindness.html
It's all good in the motherhood. Taking it day-by-day and laughing as we go. Monday, November 26, 2012. There's Always Time for Kindness. Yesterday, as I was scrolling through the countless emails in my inbox that screamed various messages such as, "Cyber Monday is here! Take 50% off one item! Or " Don't miss out! I suddenly felt very overwhelmed. They are out there. Of course, Bill just calmly looked at me all, "Well, don't get yourself all stressed out over it. Just do what you can do.". I've always wa...

http://foursillykids.blogspot.com/2010/07/pop-goes-weasel-in-my-yard.html
It's all good in the motherhood. Taking it day-by-day and laughing as we go. Thursday, July 22, 2010. Goes the weasel in my yard. It is 9:20 am as I write this, and it has already been one of those mornings. In one of those weeks. Bill called me soon after leaving for work and said, "Something smells, Clare. Check it out.". So what else is new? Something smells around here. And the sky is blue. And my name is Clare. Duh to the Uh. No, for real. It smells like gas.". Must Not. Make. A. Joke...Well, my ...

it's all good in the motherhood: Word Up Wednesday: Candy Coma.
http://foursillykids.blogspot.com/2011/11/word-up-wednesday-candy-coma.html
It's all good in the motherhood. Taking it day-by-day and laughing as we go. Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Word Up Wednesday: Candy Coma. My kids talked a big game on Halloween. They were determined to get candy. Pounds and pounds of candy. They yelled many times in the days leading up to Halloween. They yelled, even after they went to a Halloween event, and got only a small amount. They were not satisfied. Two chocolate bars and a Skittles? Were they greedy about it? It kind of goes with the territory.

it's all good in the motherhood: The Penn State Talk.
http://foursillykids.blogspot.com/2011/11/penn-state-talk.html
It's all good in the motherhood. Taking it day-by-day and laughing as we go. Thursday, November 10, 2011. The Penn State Talk. This morning, my 11-year old sports fanatic, and avid fan of ESPN Sportscenter, came into the kitchen as I was making lunches before school. He plopped down on a barstool at the counter and as he was pouring the milk into his bowl of Cheerios, he said to me, "Guess what? Penn State fired Joe Paterno last night! Can you believe it? For a moment, I said nothing. I know you knew tha...
