Die Zeit in Freiburg und danach: ...our home...
http://lucias-welt.blogspot.com/2009/04/our-home.html
Die Zeit in Freiburg und danach. Dienstag, 21. April 2009. Tja warum is Montag juhu? Ganz einfach, weil Montag frei ist. Was macht man also an seinem ersten freien Tag in Kanada?

mitchenstein: Walthamstow! (Part Two)
http://mitchenstein.blogspot.com/2009/09/walthamstow-part-two.html
Tuesday, September 01, 2009. One of the teams had the task of sorting out this:. And it's always amazing what sort of things end up in a place like this:. This rather fancy coat:. Chris with a corps flag from Chingford - anyone know when the corps in Chingford closed? Anyway, I'm a firm believer that there'll be another need for a Chingford flag at some point in the future, but I think we'll let them have a new one. I REALLY wanted to take this crest home. And quite a few stepladders. 當女人如同現在這樣般哭泣,...

mitchenstein: Crossing the Atlantic: Part One
http://mitchenstein.blogspot.com/2010/04/crossing-atlantic-part-one.html
Friday, April 09, 2010. Crossing the Atlantic: Part One. It's been a really long time since I updated this, although I have written a few posts I haven't got round to, well, posting yet. But I really enjoy this blogging malarky, and it's been a great way of keeping a record of the non-academic side of my PhD travels, so I'm going to stick with it! I'll add the earlier posts later on, but for now, happy reading! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A blog is where you write down the thoughts you have that ...

mitchenstein: Crossing the Atlantic: Part Three
http://mitchenstein.blogspot.com/2010/04/crossing-atlantic-part-three.html
Tuesday, April 13, 2010. Crossing the Atlantic: Part Three. Yes, this post is out of sync, but I had to wait for the photos. I'll put. It in its right place in a little while. So now, you have to imagine I'm back in the Faroe Islands. Whic. H, if you're located anywhere other than the Faroe Islands or Denmark, where I actually am, you might actually think I was anyway). I felt very sorry for the people who had already spoken really well of the cuff - that's very hard to repeat! Me giving it some on my eu...

mitchenstein: Walthamstow! (Part One)
http://mitchenstein.blogspot.com/2009/08/walthamstow-part-one.html
Monday, August 31, 2009. OK, so it's been a little while since I blogged (but as I took so long to get all the Faroese stuff up, you've had a nice lot to read over the summer! But here's something a little more recent. A group of young people from The Salvation Army in our region went to Walthamstow for the day (can anyone hear that name without thinking of East 17? Or am I just showing my age there? So here's a few pictures from the day:. The upstairs team (which included me) await their instructions:.

mitchenstein: January 2007
http://mitchenstein.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 30, 2007. Stubbled-Up John Has Three Thoughts. Today was to be a great day. Really it was. But things haven't turned out how they should have done. Today is exactly two weeks since I got my exercise bike. I've been cycling 5-6km every morning before uni and then most evenings too (no idea whether that's a good distance or not. but it kills me all the same! Not the great start I was hoping for, but I'm convinced I'm on the right track. I mean, I didn't. Any weight, did I? Allow me to deve...

mitchenstein: August 2006
http://mitchenstein.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 28, 2006. As you may have guessed (or read, seeing as I’ve written it several times), I’m a little nervous about the big Cut which is drawing dangerously close. How far back has my hairline gone? I decided to look at the positives and negatives…. 1 Raising money for a good cause, obviously! 2 It will look like I come from Essex. 3 My earring will be more visible (so I’ll still be a rebel :-D ). 4 It won’t take me ages to get ready on a Sunday morning. 1 It will look like I come from Essex.

mitchenstein: November 2006
http://mitchenstein.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 29, 2006. I recently found out about the passing of my friend Peter. When I first arrived in Hamburg and had no friends, it was Peter who got me through it all. We didn't know each other for so long - only for four months - but Peter was as good a friend as a friend can be. This is Peter (and me) in Germany, 2005:. Peter (full name Peter die Pflanze, 'Peter the Plant') was my buddy. We had our ups, we had our downs, we went on the underground together. He told the best jokes:. You may...

Die Zeit in Freiburg und danach. Mittwoch, 27. August 2008. Naja was heißt SPIELEN? Tja das is Nils in...
