Wednesday, June 9, 2010. Summer officially kicked off this weekend with the wedding of some of my closest friends, Erika and Jesse! It was great to get to see my friends! And I got to see my handsome man in a tuxedo - he looks so good! And I got to meet the new baby of two of my dear friends - her name is Ivy and she was born on my 25th birthday! I'm very excited to have a birthday buddy in the world! A lot more changes are coming up this summer, including a few more weddings to attend! Big n' Lil Post.

I've started collecting data for my thesis, and that, on top of the serious computer problems I've been having lately, have kept me from updating my blog! Made it back to Emporia last weekend. It was nice to see some good friends and my mom and dad (and puppy, of course! A photo of me and my friends (which are getting more and more rare). Notice the cute pregnant Rae! Saturday, March 27, 2010. I finally get time to give an update - with pictures and everything! Thursday the 25th my family celebrated 100 years of business for Emporia Floral! I traveled back to Emporia for this, which was GREAT! Then today, Saturday, we had a baby shower for my dearest friend Rae. It was the first baby shower I've ever thrown, and it was great! Well, that's all for now (unfortunately). Busy couple of weeks coming up - my first thesis manuscript is due on Friday (in 6 days!

Tuesday, December 8, 2009. I carved a pumpkin at Halloween for the first time in years. Here is mine, quite weathered after the Halloween weekend, but festive and school-spirited nonetheless:. That same week I wasn't feeling well, so I had to have some blood work done at the student health center. I REALLY hate needles, and the nurse knew it, so she drew me something special, which made it all better:. That's it for now. Hopefully over Christmas break I will have more to share! He giggles when you put him in front of the mirror and he sees himself, he knows when mommy and daddy are both around (in fact that's when he's most happy. one is ok, but both is way better! Deffinitly the craziest, most exhausting, stinkiest, happiest, grossest, most rewarding, and most love-filled 6 months in our whole lives. Heres to many more months!
