Life From Our Nest: About Me
http://lifefromournest.blogspot.com/p/about-me.html
Wife and soon-to-be mother of three living in another culture. I heart all things Pinterest and can spend hours on there. I love to imagine myself as a crafty person and an amazing cook. I am a southern girl at heart finding herself experiencing a new culture half-way across the world. I am a wanna-be Martha Stewart and your next "So You Think You Can Dance" star! August 28, 2012 at 9:20 AM. I miss you, girl! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The ruler of the Royal Nest. Her Highness (HH) of the Royal Nest.

Life From Our Nest: A Break From the Norm
http://lifefromournest.blogspot.com/2014/01/a-break-from-norm.html
Thursday, January 30, 2014. A Break From the Norm. We were blessed to get to go to Turkey for 10 days, just a little over two weeks ago now. Here are some pictures from our time there. We loved seeing old friends, making new ones and soaking up all the warmth and sunshine. There was no jetway (jet bridge or gate), we had to exit the plane and then get on a bus and ride it to the airport. This is not an unusual experience where we live. When we got off the plane, it hit us. The COLD and SNOW! Harper with ...

Life From Our Nest: October 2012
http://lifefromournest.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 30, 2012. When making goals, I normally want a complete overhaul but that's not very realistic or sustainable for me. I operate in extremes. I have learned though that I need to take change in strides. Here are a few general goals that I have listed out for myself:. Drink more water (at least 8 glasses a day). Read the Word each morning. Spend quality time with my kiddos everyday. Do something fun with them for at least 15 min. Plan out our meals each week including breakfast and lunch.

Life From Our Nest: February 2013
http://lifefromournest.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 19, 2013. One of my favorite things about our new city is that on a clear day you can see snow capped mountain peaks from all over the city. When I am riding on public transportation I love looking out the window and seeing the mountains. I have yet to capture this stunning view on camera. It just isn't as beautiful as what I see in person. Some of my favorite things about our New Nest and City:. We have a Subway, as in the chain restaurant. It is twice the size of our old city. We stil...

http://lifefromournest.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 21, 2012. Wednesday, December 19, 2012. So I just can't get up enough oomph to get out the door. We can't seem to get out the door without both kids breaking down at the same time anyway. It's just too much work. But then there's the reason that we're here.to meet people. It seems that I need to get outside to meet people, right? I won't be a hermit forever, I promise. It is just really hard right now. There are two benefits that I see to the snow.
