The government are planning to put bans on particular websites, which restricts our rights as citizens to access information and our freedom of speech. An issue arises in that the sole purpose of the internet is to copy, so then why when it is possible, can we not download what we want, when we have paid for the internet. Wednesday, December 2, 2009. Day 9: Network Creativity. Today’s lecture by guest speaker Jason Nelson was about creative uses of the internet. Jason introduced us to Google wave and how it works. Confronting, Chaotic, multiple elements. Jason work related to a piont brought up earlier in the lecture, in that some are visual representations of information for example in the weather visualiser: numbers relating to speed of wind, humidity ect are expressed as images and effect how the images are presented.

Sunday, December 6, 2009. DAY 9- summary of lecture. Today's lecture we saw some new thins, we use google earth to search each locations. And the I remember we use speedtest to test the download speed and upload speed from perm to our lecture room. I think this is more interesting. In the end we watch Jason Nelson's website. Monday, November 30, 2009. Tutorial task 5 – The Internet Field Trip. The task 5 ask us take an ‘Internet field trip’ to 3D chat room. Rather than a regular IM chat room such as MSN, we were encouraged to take part in a 3D chatroom such as ActiveLife or Habbo. Personally,I prefer MSN more than chatroom. Why?
